People You See On the TTC, Heading Downtown Around 4 PM and Back to Scarborough Around 11

85 Sheppard West to McCowan Rd.:

  • Jeff Li but taller, complete with chin whiskers
  • Fat sassy black lady, with terrible burn (?) scar

129 McCowan South to Scarborough Town Centre Station:

  • Achingly attractive Chinese girl, snappy dressed and big in all the right places (e.g. calves, thighs)

Scarborough RT South to Kennedy Station:

  • Blonde Cindy who Went to ASE, and I waved but didn't talk to her this time even though we had English together and I probably helped her along at one point or the other

Bloor Subway West to Yonge/Bloor Station:

  • Effete-looking young Indian man waiting for someone, who I assumed was gay but then later I saw him with a girl

Yonge Subway South to Dundas Station:

  • Occupied with NOW Magazine crossword, Michelle

University Subway North to St. George Station:

  • Woman with disgustingly skinny legs, fine blonde hairs thereon

Bloor Subway East to Kennedy Station:

  • Hilariously tired children, parents fresh from Ikea (bags full)

Scarborough RT North to Scarborough Town Centre Station:

  • Mabel Meable from Woburn Spanish class and Taco Bell, with her Filipino seeming boyfriend

133 Neilson East and North to Sheppard:

  • Bald (crazy bald) angry Afro-Carribbean matriarch, with her grandchildren (?)

85 Sheppard East to Breckon/Brenyon:

  • An asleep girl who looks like that Persian-born Norwegian model who wanted to be Miss Norway but it came out that she had performed in two adult films and then she tried to claim that it was her twin sister, her zip-up sweater falling open and revealing her low-cut top

i HATE seeing achingly attractive people on the ttc. ... and love it also. ohh the ache.

do you generally try to do something 'productive' on the ttc, or just people-watch?

Depending on where I'm going and why, and what I have with me, I'll read, listen to music, or just watch. Often I combine two or even all three.
Of course, that's when I'm alone. Obviously when you're with people you know you can't just look around, or read silently.

Apparently your Meable-spelling-remembrance skills are finely honed, Mr. McLeod. Consulting my Woburn yearbook, I see that it is indeed Meable.

And her boyfriend could conceivably be Darrell or Mark; it was pretty dark.

Hee.

You've confused me... as well as yourselves, I think.
Okay...

M-EA-ble. Adam's skills extend only to remembering that it was 'some weird spelling' (and if he didn't actually say that he should have).

Eh, I could do worse than Mark.

Probably.
